One of a kind; "Onion" necklace with limbcast gemstone

A one of a kind piece inspired by the turtleback feature and pinkish hue of the limbcast gemstone.  The silver oval, framing the stone, was hand forged. The gemstone was cut by Kim's assistant and is 32mmx22mm (1.5"x7/8"). The necklace is 16.5" long (430mm) and contains the following beads: faceted aventurine, faceted pink opal, freshwater pearls, sterling silver cubes, barrel shaped and faceted 14k rose gold. The clasp and gemstone setting are 14k rose gold and sterling silver. The pendant hangs 40mm (about 1.5") from the beaded chain.
