Scolecite 'gemstone' ring

Scolecite is actually a mineral. It has unusual structure and commonly occurs in sprays. Kim tends towards choosing neutral gemstones (except for that turquoise!) for her rings to support any wardrobe! Truly a statement piece and conversation starter. We always recommend removing rings to wash hands, etc. (see 'caring for your jewelry') but it is REQUIRED for this contemporary 'cocktail ring'. Scolecite is sensitive to common acids, such as vinegar, which may damage the surface of the cabochon.

The cabochon is 33mm x 21mm (1.5" x 3/4") and the dimensions of the face of the ring are 35mm x 40mm (1 3/8" x 1 5/8"). The band is 13mm (1/2") wide and will fit a size 8.
